ISRAEL JOURNAL OF VETERINARY MEDICINE
EDITORIAL
this edition of the Israel Journal of veterinary Medicine includes some surprises! the overseas authors in this edition originate from greece, turkey, Italy and China. We welcome their contribution to the journal and look forward to continued cooperation. An important breakthrough in the current journal is the presence of 5 articles from Israeli veterinarians, three of them from the veterinary school. this is indeed a very welcome development which I hope will maintain itself in the forth coming journals. In particular I want to welcome Dr. Ana epstein and thank her for the contribution “What is your Anesthetic Protocol?” this will be the last edition of 2010. As you may have noticed, this was the year of the “horse” with each edition featuring a different breed of horse on the cover. For the year 2011 we will be adopting a different theme, and I would be glad to hear your opinion. Other themes like dog, cat, sheep and cattle breeds are being considered. Please write and make your voice heard. I continue to encourage Israeli veterinarians to write articles and contribute to the Journal. the efforts of involving students in the process of writing has not succeeded as yet, although I hold hope that this may happen in the future. I hope you will all read the journal and learn something from the interesting articles. Your feedback is welcome and important. Best regards to all Trevor Waner
