Solitary Distal Limb Mast Cell Tumor in a Three Year Old Arabian Mare
Horn-Mandel, H., Valentine, B.A., Brenner, O., Tatz, J.A. and Kelmer, G. (Israel Journal of Veterinary Medicine Volume 68 (3): 190-194, 2013)
In Figure 3 of the article an error was detected and the figure is now replaced by the figure below and its legend. The current Figure 3 demonstrates well the gross appearance of the lesion while the original version of Figure 3 only adds an additional histhological view. The gross appearance is rather unique and may help clinicians and surgeons in diagnosis of Mast Cell Tumors (MCT) in equines in future cases.
Figure 3: Macroscopic appearance of a mass removed from a left hind limb of a 3 year old Arab mare. The mass was incised along its longitudinal axis and in the center of the mass there are multiple pale brown-yellow granules.
